Stuff to Support RRUFF

RRUFF (Rescued Rottweilers United with Friends and Family, Inc.) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization composed of volunteers who all have a love of the Rottweiler breed and a desire to help homeless Rottweiler dogs find their *forever* families. RRUFF was founded in May of 2004 and is incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as of June 2004. RRUFF rescues unwanted and abandoned Rottweiler dogs from shelters in New England. We also take on a limited number of owner surrender cases where there are exigent circumstances. Each dog is put through a rigid temperament evaluation to test their suitability for placement with a family. Once the dog passes the evaluation s/he is accepted into our program and placed in foster care. While in foster care each dog learns basic obedience, house manners, crate training and how to live harmoniously with a family.
